  12. First of all , I would like to tell you that the physical size of the modem
  13. doesnt correlate with the speed
  14.  at which it runs.
  15. Secondly, it is most  likey a 9600, 14,000, or 28.8. is you purchased it
  16. recently.
  17. 9600 runs rather slow.... 14,000 does the job fine in text based
  18.
